Alicia is currently teaching in Screen and Media at Swinburne University.

She was a poetry and short story teacher at Chisholm TAFE for seven years and was also a teacher at RMIT, NMIT and Sunraysia TAFE.

Alicia gives many poetry, fiction, spoken word and podcasting workshops in primary and secondary schools. She also performs regular writing workshops at universities, TAFE and writing groups. She loved doing the science writing workshops for the State Library of Victoria.
